the responsible use of a mysterious tea
The União do Vegetal distributes Hoasca tea only in its religious ritual, conscious of its sacred nature and of the necessity to work with its effects in a responsible way in the process of human development.

The UDV does not commercialize Hoasca tea in any way. Further, the UDV does not combine the tea with any drug nor distribute the tea to people who do not demonstrate adequate emotional maturity.

The activities of the Center, especially the procedures related to the distribution of the Vegetal, are completely within the knowledge of public authorities. Further, the UDV opens wide its doors to public authorities and contributes as best it can so that the use of Hoasca tea is restricted to the rituals of the religious societies that utilize it.
