the UDV as a religious society, the Amazon forest is not only its geographic
origin but also holds essential spiritual values.
The UDV dedicates a part of its institutional efforts to the preservation of
large areas of native tropical rainforests.
Located in Lábrea County, Amazonas on the border with Acre, the SeringalNovo Encanto encompasses an area of 8,025 hectares (19,829 acres) where
sustainable use programs are under development.
