A letter of intention established an agreement between the UDV and Novo Encanto for the contribution of resources from members of the Center for the purposes of acquiring areas of forest.

In the acquired areas, Novo Encanto has been supporting plantation activities for Mariri and Chacrona, plants used in the preparation of Hoasca.

At the same time, the Association is developing programs for the preservation of native vegetation, programs for sustainable management and programs in support of further research and study.
